Leica Microscopes
Leica Microsystems manufactures medical microscopes used in ophthalmology, neurosurgery and spine surgery, dentistry and otolaryngology (ENT). The brand’s portfolio includes compact microscopes for clinical practices and complex surgical systems. At Medical Elektro, we offer Leica microscopes prepared through our refurbishment process and covered by a 12-month warranty.

What gives Leica microscopes their standing?
Leica combines optical precision with attention to operator comfort. Its microscopes offer a clear image, freedom of positioning and intuitive operation, while a wide choice of configurations allows the equipment to be adapted to the needs of a particular specialty.
Leica designs microscopes for many years of use, focusing on robust materials and durable construction. These qualities also matter on the used equipment market, where different generations of the brand’s devices are available.
Leica microscope models and applications
Leica microscopes include models intended for a single specialty and multidisciplinary systems whose range of applications depends on their configuration and equipment.
Leica ophthalmic microscopes
Leica’s ophthalmic portfolio includes the M844, M822, M820, M841, M620 and M220, among others. We present devices intended for this specialty in the ophthalmic microscopes category.
Leica microscopes for neurosurgery and spine surgery
Microscopes used in neurosurgery include the M525, M720 and M520, as well as the M530 OH6, M530 OHX, ARveo 8, ARveo 8x and PROvido systems. Selected devices in this group, depending on their configuration and equipment, are also used in spine surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Leica microscopes in dentistry
In dentistry, the M320 is intended for use in clinical practices. An appropriately configured M525 can also be used for selected dental procedures.
Leica microscopes in otolaryngology (ENT)
Devices used in otolaryngology (ENT) include the M320 and appropriately configured M525, M530 OH6 and M530 OHX systems.
Leica microscope model and configuration
Leica microscopes of the same model may differ in their suspension system, illumination and additional equipment. One example is the M525, which exists in configurations with suspension systems including the F20, F40 and OH4.
What determines the price of a Leica microscope?
The price of a used Leica microscope depends on:
- the model and version of the device;
- the suspension system;
- the optical configuration;
- the illumination system;
- the video system;
- additional equipment.
At Medical Elektro, every microscope undergoes refurbishment to the same standard. We set the price individually for each unit and its configuration.
Used and refurbished Leica microscopes
The term “used” refers to a microscope with a history of use. A refurbished surgical microscope is a used device that undergoes a multistage process of preparation for sale.
Refurbishment at Medical Elektro follows one standard that applies to the complete configuration of each unit. For Leica microscopes, this covers the complete microscope with its appropriate suspension system and equipment. Each refurbished unit has its own photographs and a description matching its configuration, and is covered by a 12-month warranty. The detailed scope is presented on the surgical microscope refurbishment process page.

The list of Leica devices is updated automatically. Information on availability, configuration and equipment is provided for each unit.
